It's hard to have a jealous boyfriend on your hands.. In fact, depending on how bad his 'jealous' episodes are, they are often too much for girls to handle. Talk to Him About the Root of his Jealousy

Ask him if you've given him any reason to be jealous. Find out where the jealousy stems from. It could be something you're doing that makes him feel insecure. It could be something you're not doing that you don't even know he wants or needs you too.

Remind him that you do not read minds and that he needs to tell you what's going on and what the cause of the problem is if there's any hope of correcting it.

Let him know what you WANT him to feel as confident of your love for him as you feel about his love for YOU. Make the conversation all about how you can help him feel more confident in your love for him.

Show Him a Little Extra Admiration and Respect

Men have needs too. It almost seems strange to write about it but it's true. They've been denying them for millennia. Men don't like to admit they need anything. But that doesn't change the fact that there are things you can do that will make him feel more confident in your love for him.

Instead of Cuba Gooding Jr. standing there in a towel saying 'Show me the money!' Picture your guy there in the same towel saying 'Show me the Love!' He needs to see it coming from you and there are two things you can do that show it to him.

1) Stroke his ego. Men's egos need lots of stroking. Tell him how much you admire him. Laugh at his jokes – even the corny jokes you've heard him tell dozens of times. Thank him for the little things he does to help out around the house.
2) Show him some RESPECT. Oh yes, he needs respect. But, respect in his mind might be something very different from what you consider respect. Respect for men means a lot of different things. It's loyalty for one. Don't ever let him catch you complaining about him with the girls. As far as he's concerned that's the ultimate disrespect and disloyalty in his eyes. It's a dagger right to his heart. Stop nagging. He finds that to be the ultimate, in your face, method of pointing out just how little you do respect what he does for your home and family.

Those things might not fix his jealousy but they will definitely open the lines of communication between the two of you. Putting the problem out there and starting the conversation is a great way to get the conversation going. You can even use it to save the relationship.
