I was full of excuses about why I should not try to lose weight. Looking back at the various reasons that I gave, I often have a great laugh. Most of the times I did not think anything of it. My most common reason is the time of year is not right. How can I be on diet when the entire world is partying? Does someone need to go back to the buffet line to have fun at a Christmas event? It is not the only thing to do at the party. But it is not the easiest place to eat right. And using this excuse makes it easier to use the same excuse at another time and no diet is ever started.
It becomes very hard to lose the weight that we want to when we are faced with the unhealthy food choices every day. Because of all of the things that surround us it is almost impossible to resist the urges unless we can wrap ourselves in a cocoon. People often ridicule at obese people. It is usually not a person’s desire to be made fun of. Because of that we look for a way to make a quick change. A person expects to see all of the extra pounds disappear from their body in a week.
It is important for people to understand that it is not always safe to drop a lot of weight in a very short time period before they try to do it. It is not only difficult but also impossible. Losing weight like this can damage a person’s body.
