Three Critical Errors that Cause the Law of Attraction to Work in Reverse
Have you tried the Law of Attraction and fallen short of your desired outcome? The sad fact is that most people unknowingly put the Law of Attraction to work against themselves. Solving this problem will probably require a shift in thinking and this is the key to switching from disappointment to achievement.
Three Critical Blunders and How to Solve Them with Success Thinking
1. Establishing a goal that's too large. This can set you up for disappointment. Your goals have to be large enough to excite you, and small enough to be believable. For example, if you set a goal to achieve financial freedom and you don't feel like it will ever happen, you'll begin to find yourself thinking about it not happening and that is what the law of attraction will return to you.
Remedy: With your ultimate goal in the back of your mind, concentrate on something that you can believe is possible. You may, for example, aspire to earn 5-10% more each month by starting a home business with the long term goal of becoming financially free. Then when you reach your initial goal, you can step it up another notch.
2. Dwelling on what isn't working right now. You might hope to be financially free because you are unhappy with your job. Concentrating on feeling bad is a sure-fire way to attract even more of what you don't want.
Remedy: Concentrate on creating what you DO want. To draw on the last example, think as frequently as possible about increasing your income by 5 or 10 percent with your own business. Identify when you deviate from thinking about what you want and get back on track as soon as you can. "I'm happy to have a job while I shift into an awesome future."
3. Failing to Take action. A goal without action is just a pie in the sky. It's surprising how many people wait for someone to come along and save them. While this is a wonderful dream, you can't rely on it as a replacement for taking action. The desired result of creating a goal that excites you that you believe in is feeling inspired to take action, a willingness to do whatever it takes to reach your goal.
Remedy: Enlist the will to step outside your comfort zone and do whatever it takes to realize your dreams and goals. You and your dreams are worth it, no matter what anyone else might say. As the saying goes, feel the fear and do it anyway.
Putting the Law of Attraction to Work on Your Behalf

Once you set a goal that you can believe, think regularly about it happening, and take inspired action, you are ready to take flight. This is the main substance of success thinking.
The next critical element is to watch for opportunities. The way to your goal may not be at all what you imagine, so you have to have an open mind. Be on the alert for something unexpected and new that will help you to correct your course. When you shift from thinking of failure to thinking about success, virtually anything is possible!
