My Future Is Bleak Because I Am Obese

I have a problem. No one makes clothes that are big enough for me to fit in to. I sit on the furniture and it breaks. I spend more at the supermarket than is necessary. I know that I am obese and I need to take control of the problem before it is too late. I’m just not sure how I can accomplish this daunting feat.

Before I had figured out what I should do, I caught the program called the Biggest Loser which was about people who needed to lose weight. I went online and found out that the show had a website that included a link to the biggest loser forum where there were all sorts of helpful hints, tools and chat rooms that are dedicated to helping people lose weight. I felt better knowing that I was not alone in my desire to lose weight. Having the support of others would make it easier to lose the weight by myself. So I completed my first step by doing the research.

I then decided that I had to set some specific goals. I was more than two hundred pounds overweight and needed to correct it now. I knew that I had to learn how to lose weight fastbecause my health was in danger and if I did not act quickly, I might not get another chance to succeed, and like the people on the show I had watched, I decided that I could lose more than ten pounds a week if I worked hard enough. I knew that I would have to dedicate myself to the chore, but I was up to challenge.

For the next few months I devoted my life to exercise, diet, and work. I couldn’t fit anything else into my schedule. Because of my dedication I saw some results. The pounds were disappearing. I lost ten pounds a week for the first few weeks. For a short time, my weight loss stopped, and I was stick at the same weight for a couple of weeks. I didn’t understand it but the people at the gym and my doctor told me not to worry, to stick with the program. I listened to my friends and family and stuck with it. After a short time, I started to lose weight again. My supporters were right, and I felt good about myself.

I have made a major impact on my life by making the decision to lose weight and have been very successful going from over four hundred pound to about two hundred and thirty pounds in under a year. It wasn’t always easy, but it was all worth it. Losing the weight has allowed me to do things I haven’ done since I was a teenager. I no longer worry about people saying things behind my back about how I look. I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face and a skip in my step because of how I feel. The best part of the journey has not been losing the weight although I wouldn’t want it back. I have learned that I like the way the person that I am no matter what I look like. I could not get that for any amount of money.

One of the hardest things for a person to do, is to lose the excess weight they are carrying. Many people have the goal of attaining the weight that best suits them and their goals in life.

It began with a trip to the doctor. There were many warning signs. Obesity can create many physical problems in the body and I was beginning to feel the effects of it. The body does not have to be broken down by obesity, but it is not wise to delay taking care of one’s self. While medicine could help the maladies that were being faced, the best long term cure was to get rid of the excess belly fat that was being carried.

The difficult thing is to figure out how to change the way we are living to regain a healthy body. There is a big difference between saying that it is time to get healthy and fit and taking the time and effort to really putting forth the effort required. We were facing the same problem that many others are also facing. The list of diet and exercise programs available is endless. Don't Stress Your Weight

The world is not an easy place these days. The recession has created a lot of problems for a lot of people. The media is full of stories about how hard things are and what the future holds in store for us. There never seems to be enough time to get everything done that a person wants to get done. With all of this happening around us, why add any more stress to our already stressful lives?
