“Am I doing the right thing? Am I taking the right path?” These are some questions we usually ask ourselves, when we are doubtful of the things happening to us. Have you ever seen the poem titled, “The Road Not Taken?” I will tell you the concept of this poem for you to know about the interpretation of this. This poem about life is authored by Robert Frost. This poem is about a male facing two roads, and he must decide which road he’ll take. That person in the poem represents us, humankind ; that sometimes we are facing struggles in life thus it is up to us if which decision shall we be going to make happen.
Humanity, as we all know, has many choices in life, and every choice can make a remarkable change. This choice either can be helpful for all of us or would just make our life worse. The most important thing here is that people must think about what would be the impact of that decision in our life; either it would make our life better or more complicated.
Be mindful that our life is not permanent. God gave us opportunity to live here to refrain from doing bad things and also have wrong decisions in life. Each of us has purpose and it is up to us to find that out. God loves us so much that he created this wonderful creations we see here on this planet. Thus, we’ve got freedom to decide on what kind of life we want to live.
As a child of God, we have to include him in every decision we’ve got and everything we do every day of our lives. We have to dedicate and offer everything to God. We must search for God’s guidance so that he’ll be with us every time. He is always watching over us. We simply have to hear the voice of God deep within our hearts in each decision we take and every problems we’ve got. The voice that we hear will give a good impact for all of us.
Common thing that happens is when people ask God if they’re having the right career in life. I have read through this news entitled “Pray for God’s guidance when you pick a career path” which is authored by Billy Graham. Graham said, “…Then pray for God to guide you and give you peace, confirming in your mind and heart what way is right. Do not trust your emotions; they can mislead you or fill you with self-doubt. The Bible says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it'” (Isaiah 30:21). Then step out in faith, trusting He is with you.”
This is not impossible for people. We could hear the voice of God that will guide us in whatever decisions we’ve got in life. We all need to have faith and trust in the Lord. Let Him be the one that controls your life.
