For the vast bulk of the population winning on the draw would be like a pipe-dream come true. The life-changing event of a lotto win would set anyone up for life. However, for most people winning on the lottery is just plain impossible. As impossible as it may seem a mother and daughter from North Carolina have won the lottery three times between each other.
In Charlotte in North Carolina, Kimberley McCauley, the daughter of Amy McCauley who has won the lottery twice, won a staggering $100,000 in a new scratcher game called ’10X the Money’.
In fact Amy first won a staggering $15.5 million on the New York State Lottery way back in 1991 and only just collected her last annuity cheque last year in 2011.
Then ten years later, in 2007, Amy had another incredible strike of good luck. In 2007 Amy claimed another massive win. She walked away with a huge pot of $161,172.
Amy’s wins didn’t stop there either. She went on to win two further one thousand dollar prizes from the state lottery. Her amazing success at playing the lottery attracted the attention of Oprah Winfrey who interviewed her on her show.
Amy’s amazing luck must have past to her daughter. Both women arrived at the lottery headquarters to collect the younger woman’s prize. The lottery headquarters in Raleigh saw two composed women arrive to collect the prize.
Ryan Kennemur, a spokesperson for the North Carolina Education Lottery stated that mother and daughter were completely at ease when they arrived to claim their big prize.
Amy’s daughter Kimberly, who walked away with a cool $68,001 after paying taxes, set her sights on a new Mini Cooper and promised to pay off her student loans and other debts gathered during her studies.
Did the McCauley’s have a system they used to beat the lottery? They claim it was just plain good luck. Although the McCauley’s may not have used a system (although many people swear they did) there are other people who do claim they know how to win the lottery. Although it seems like an almost impossible feat there are people who swear by the lottery software they use. If the really big winners have used systems I guess we will never know. However, as for the lottery winners who have claimed to use systems there is no direct proof that this is the case. We wither believe them or we don’t.
Believe it or not there other stories that are just as incredible as that of the McCauley women.
In fact it happened in North Carolina before. In North Carolina Michael Mabe also won the North Carolina Education lottery several times. Just last year in 2011 Mabe claimed yet another top lottery prize and walked away with $100,000.
There is also the story of the Texan woman, Joan Ginther, who won the lottery a staggeringly unbelievable four times! The 63 year old lady has amassed a massive $20.4 million dollars across her 4 wins. That has to be one of the luckiest women in Texas!
