How You Can Overcome Shyness

“Thinking” is one of the biggest reasons why it’s hard to overcome shyness.

Cerebral is when you plan things out and strategize like a chess game, it’s also where you have inner dialogue going. An example of cerebral thinking is when Robert Downey Jr in the new movie Sherlock Holmes thinks of all the ways he’ll hit the guy and then does it.

Behavioral is very different and contrary to what people think it’s also FASTER. It’s when you’re jogging on a trail and see that rock in front of you and naturally avoid it…in that moment you don’t think to yourself “Okay, there’s an obstacle…if I go left this outcome will happen, if I go right something else will happen”. It’d be too late if you thought it out and you’d trip on that rock.

The problem is that shy men approach the social game at a cerebral level when it’s a behavioral game…it causes shy men to “trip on that rock” so-to-speak. When you use a slightly different approach it becomes much easier to overcome shyness.

The “Social Game” mainly depends on behavioral thinking. Learning conversation skills and applying it when you’re out is the fastest way of getting to that level…by getting feedback through the behaviors of others.

In order to get behavioral feedback you NEED to go out and have conversations. If you feel you need to not only sweep up on conversation skills but also overcome shyness, attract more friends, handle bullies and be a more social man you should check out my blog www.surfsocialwaves.com/blog where I continuously write high-quality articles on this topic.

To overcome shyness is a hit and miss for most people, now it doesn’t have to be.

Talk to you soon!
